Arbusta bets on further growth in 2021

Arbusta, a Latin American technology company with operations in Uruguay since 2019, announced its expansion plans for 2021, which contemplate a 60% increase in revenue, seeking to reach a turnover of $5 million.

2020 was a very special year for all of us, with a lot of learning. It was also a year of growth for ArbustaJust as the demand for digital channels grew in all industries, so did the demand for Data Management, Digital Interactions, Machine Learning Training, and QA&SoftwareTesting services provided by Arbusta. More than ever, for our clients it is strategic to ensure the quality of their digital products, take care of the security of their ecosystems and intelligently manage their data", explained Beatriz Ponce de León, Director of Arbusta.

In 2020, Arbusta's revenue increased 60% year-over-year to $3 million. In the pandemic year, the company served clients in Latin America and the United States and grew its team by 24%. The company currently employs 310 people working in its offices in Buenos Aires, Medellín, Montevideo and Rosario.

In its operations in Uruguay, Arbusta employs 64 people. 90% of its employees are young people from fragile contexts, who find in Arbusta their first formal job in the knowledge industry. Almost 60% are young women, as Arbusta also set out to reduce the gender gap in companies in the technology sector.

For this 2021, Arbusta established the following goals:

- A growth in revenue similar to that of 2020, seeking to reach a turnover of USD 5 million.
- Focus this growth on expanding the markets of the United States and Colombia, and consolidate those of Argentina and Uruguay.
- Systematize its unique talent development model and enhance the technical and management skills of its teams.

On how the team is preparing to achieve these goals, Erika Santos, Project Manager at Arbusta Uruguay, said: "One of the main focuses will be Customer Experience. We will work with our clients to enhance their performance, creating memorable interactions of the service they provide and managing data that allows them to make decisions quickly and effectively in increasingly uncertain environments". He added: "The model we inhabit allows us to seek innovation in service, always keeping the customer at the center of our gaze. We promote the curiosity and proactivity of our collaborators, which translates into new ideas and valuable relationships".
