At Búsquedas IT we always try to analyze and think about improving our practices. Not only do we do IT Recruiting and Consulting, but we are also interested in contributing to the sector by providing quality information that is useful to understand the labor market.
Thus, in the midst of this crisis-opportunity we are living, the idea of creating an IT Search Position Ranking Report came up.
In this opportunity, we provide in this brief report, the data established in the First Quarter of the year (January - March 2020).
Throughout the quarter, 57.3% of our total searches were concentrated in Software Developer roles. Of this percentage, 40% were Full Stack Developers, 35% Backend Developers and 25% Frontend Developers. Also, breaking down the remaining 42.7%, we have that 13.5% of our selections focused on QA Analyst positions, 8.3% were Management/Leadership profiles, 7.3% were Systems profiles (Network, Database, Support, etc.), 6.3% were Functional Analyst positions, Commercial, Digital Marketing, 4.2% were Devops positions and 3.1% were Business Intelligence roles.
- Most demanded technologies:
The main technology that our clients have demanded from us for both Full Stack Developer and Frontend Developer profiles are Javascript (16 positions contained this requirement as an exclusion) and React (15 positions).as for Backend technologies, the most demanded this first quarter were: Java (10 positions) and Genexus (9 positions).
To a lesser extent we are looking for Developers with experience in: C# .NET, PHP and Python.
By way of conclusion, we can say that Development roles continue to be the most required, so it is logical to establish that the salary ranges will also be the most sensitive, given that the higher rotation implies increases in the salaries established for the positions.
On the other hand, we see a growing trend to hire Full Stack profiles where frontend technologies such as Javascript, Angular, ReactJS, Vue.js are increasingly valued.
