With more than 650 participants, Karina Santo, CEO of the company, closed the event with a reflection: "All of us here have a great opportunity to impact the companies, the organisations in which we are, and therefore, to leave a better country than we found it. So the invitation today is to take ACTION". The event took place at Kibon Avanza on 3 August.
IV GeneXus Projects Day is an event that inspires, empowers and connects better projects. This year it focused its activities on various disciplines, so we saw aspects of security, usability, and change management.
In addition to the technical talks, a prestigious Panel with IT leaders was presented: Lorena Veiga - Manager of the Foreign Trade Single Window of the Uruguay XXI Institute, Marcelo Pesce - Director of the Technology Division of the Judiciary, Daniel Laffitte - Director of the Systems Development area of DGI, Jorge Forcella - Director of the Salud.uy Programme of Agesic, Karime Ruibal - Coordinator of the Online Procedures Programme of Agesic and the moderator was Gonzalo Robaina of CMI International.
The event was closed by the Argentinean keynote speaker Estanislao Bachrach.
As a novelty, the event featured the campaign "Books change lives" carried out by the CSR team, which consisted of inviting participants to donate a children's book for rural schools in Uruguay. The campaign was a success and 195 books were collected. The books will be delivered in mid-August to the school in Santa Clara de Olimar.
Once again, GeneXus Consulting would like to thank all those who participated and were present for this great success, extending the invitation for a fifth edition next year.
