The main focus of the presentation was based on the new trend to balance the different levels of trust and security with usability and user experience, and how the new electronic ID card makes available to all a signature and authentication mechanism generating confidence and cost savings.
This breakfast was opened by one of the directors of ISA, Eng. Leonardo Noach, who presented the work that has been done for more than 16 years using this technology in the field of electronic document management, under the product iGDoc, and that for 2 years has been developed from the Certification and Digital Identification Division.
Walter Suárez spoke about the technologies we are developing, specific components for their use and products made from them, including:
- Certification and Digital Identification
- Multifactor Authentication
- Digital Signature, encompassing the concepts of electronic and advanced signature.
- Platforms in the cloud, referencing the MiFirmaproduct.
- Mass Signing, applying HSMs and the Batch Signing Tool
- Uruguayan Electronic Identity Card
- Electronic Payroll Receipt, presenting the product MiRecibo
- Remote or cloud signature
We have the testimony of Adriana Barros, Director of the Electronic Government Area of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works(MTOP), telling her experience using the new Uruguayan electronic identity card.
Jordi Buch, Marketing & Business Development Manager at Safelayer (Spain), spoke at the closing session and presented solutions and trends under the aforementioned topics, among which the following should be highlighted: Identity and signature in the cloud, and authentication and signature through mobile devices, all referenced to the new European eIDAS e-regulation framework.
At the end of the meeting, readers for the electronic identity card were given away so that attendees could try first hand our solutions under these technologies.
