In this way, the Institute joins other organizations that have already implemented this system. The system will be used by the different areas of the Institute, such as Vineyard Registers; Securities; Accounting; Technical; etc. The main target audience will be winemakers, winegrowers and importers.
Through e-Notifications, public entities are able to send notifications and communications electronically to individuals, companies and organizations in general, in an agile, simple and safe way, optimizing time and avoiding additional costs and transfers to the addressees.
This initiative is part of the actions of modernization of public management that AGESIC has been developing in conjunction with other state agencies. INAVI joins many other agencies that can already notify electronically.
In the long term, the solution is expected to support more than 3,000,000 communications per year across the 50 or so agencies that could potentially use the Electronic Communications and Notification System, with potentially every citizen, business and agency in the country as a recipient.
This platform is a new milestone in Uruguay's Digital Agenda (2011-2015), established by AGESIC to promote "electronic access to Public Administration as a citizen's right" and the realization of "an integrated State".
In this project INTEGRADOC was applied to the specific problem of electronic Notifications and Communications, taking advantage of all the already developed and extensively tested functionalities of the platform. In addition, a highly scalable and robust Electronic Address solution was built, in order to potentially serve a very large number of recipients (all individuals and legal entities in the country).
