The eCommerce Institute and the Chamber of Digital Economy of Uruguay (CEDU) are preparing a new edition of eCommerce Day, an activity that brings together exponents in the field to discuss new trends and the most demanding challenges in the sector today.
The eCommerce DAY is an initiative of the eCommerce Institute that has been held since 2008 in different countries of the region, in conjunction with local organizations related to e-commerce to promote an environment where they can exchange experiences and propose solutions to the various challenges that arise in an activity in constant development.
During the eighth edition of the event in Uruguay, CEDU will present the first national study of Digital Consumption Trends, created with the aim of serving for businessmen and digital entrepreneurs to make decisions based on reliable information, according to the president of the Chamber, Guillermo Varela.
For his part, the president of the eCommerce Institute, Marcos Pueyrredón, highlighted the need to "accompany the growth of demand related to eCommerce through good practices, so that the Uruguayan online consumer has memorable shopping experiences and becomes a recurrent buyer".
Through these meetings, collaboration channels are also created for those entrepreneurs interested in actively entering the digital economy business and taking advantage of its benefits. Information technology providers, payment methods, logistics companies, trade and industry leaders, financial operators and advertising agencies attend every year the eCommerce Day, which features high-level international speakers.
In addition, during the eCommerce Day Montevideo 2019 will be developed the eCommerce Startup Competition, which seeks to promote digital entrepreneurship in the country.
