Smart City Expo closed its first edition in Curitiba (Brazil) with a total of 5,577 professionals. The event, organised by Fira de Barcelona, was a meeting point for 50 cities in Brazil and Latin America, congress participants and national and international moderators.
This event, which is held annually in Barcelona, is one of the most important worldwide on the development of smart cities. With the intention of expanding, FIRA Barcelona organises editions in various cities around the world, being Curitiba the chosen one this year.
Marcos Ezquerra, director of Fx2, attended this important summit. The exhibition area of the congress and the Smart Plaza have served to generate a large number of contacts with other companies and institutions of the local and international 'smart city' sector.
