Cybersecurity Forum of the Americas to be Held

The event is co-organised by the Agency for Electronic Government and the Information and Knowledge Society (Agesic), the Presidency of the Republic, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Organisation of American States (OAS).

This conference will address various issues related to national and international regulations on cybersecurity. It is an appropriate environment for the exchange of ideas and an in-depth approach to the subject from a technical-legal point of view.

The event will feature prominent local and international representatives who will present and discuss different topics related to cybersecurity in Uruguay, the region and the world. The opening will be attended by the Deputy Secretary of the Presidency of the Republic, Juan Andrés Roballo; Miguel Taborga from the IDB and Luis Almagro from the OAS.
