Between the 1st and 3rd of August, the 4th Edition of the Smart Cities Meeting is taking place in the Ernesto de los Campos Hall on the 2nd floor of the Montevideo City Hall, three days of exchange on innovation strategies.
In the fourth edition, the Meeting will be divided into three days. The first day will focus on innovative experiences on both sides of the Río de la Plata, with the presence of the Governor of Buenos Aires, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, together with the Mayor of Montevideo, Daniel Martínez. The second day will focus on the initiatives carried out by the Municipality of Montevideo in terms of digital government, participation, sustainability and smart cities. These will be presented by the area directorates and management teams. Finally, on the third day, challenges and technological findings that will allow in the immediate future to accelerate and develop new solutions and innovation strategies will be presented.
The meeting has the participation of representatives of government and industry of Argentina and prominent speakers such as Ricardo Triana, speaker and consultant at international level on the topics of Leadership, Conflict Management, Strategy and Project Management; Pablo Valenti, specialist of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in Modernization of the State and Digital Strategies; Nicolas Jodal, Co-creator of GeneXus, the world's leading tool for making mission-critical applications on multiple platforms, using artificial intelligence; Marcelo Funes, Undersecretary of Innovation and Smart City, CABA; Daniel Fuentes, Vice President of ANTEL; José Clastornik, Executive Director of AGESIC and Sylvia González Mujica General Manager of HG.
