From Monday 2 to Wednesday 4 October, the 27th edition of the long-awaited annual meeting will take place in Montevideo under the theme "Shape your Future". In this year's wide variety of talks, the conversation about Digital Transformation continues, exploring the impact on society and business, as well as exploring opportunities in autonomous vehicles, Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Technology, the Internet of Things and Virtual Reality.
Less than a week before the event, the agenda with some 150 activities is now available at www.genexus.com/encuentro and the app can be downloaded on Google Play and iTunes.

Some of the keynote speakers already confirmed for the GX27 are from the field of leadership and change management strategies, such as Shoham Adizes (USA), who will give the keynote lecture "The future of management" on how to manage the transformation of organisations in the face of digital transformation. Susana García Robles (IDB) will speak on innovation in Latin America. Engineer Fernando Bracco (Uruguay) will address Artificial Intelligence from the angle of robotics and teleoperation. Civil Engineer Daniel Fernandez Koprich (Chile) will also be present sharing his experience in different areas as he has been CEO of different companies in the Engineering, Oil & Gas, Urban Transport, Ports, Mining Logistics, TV and Energy industries. Computer Engineer and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining, Guillermo Moncecchi (Uruguay) will give the lecture "20 years of Machine Learning" in honour of the 20th anniversary of the publication of the book Machine Learning by Tom Mitchell. The well-known blogger Eliax (Dominican Republic) is already a classic of GeneXus meetings and will be present for the fifth consecutive year with two talks, one of them is "Titans of Artificial Intelligence".
Mercado Libre will represent innovation in e-commerce with a conference by its regional vice-president, Sean Summers. Microsoft will present its latest news from itsCTO in Latin America, Eduardo Mangarelli. Other keynote speakers from the world of Bitcoins and Fintech have also been confirmed.
