The impact of technologies in the business world and the challenges faced by companies were the focus of the debate forum "Clínica de Tendencias", organized by Claro Empresas and Huawei, with the participation of prominent businessmen.
In an atmosphere of camaraderie, the panel composed by Nicolás Jodal, CEO of GeneXus; Sergio Fogel, director of d.Local and Astropay; and the Argentine technologist Santiago Bilinkis, and moderated by Silvya Chebi, co-founder of ThalesLab, discussed and exchanged with the audience about the trends and challenges presented by new technologies.
Bilinkis kept the audience engaged as he recounted his experience as a technologist. "I dedicate a large part of my life to understanding how technology will impact our lives, the decisions we make every day, whether it is education or the world of work. Today every medium-term decision is for another world, because you can, for example, choose a career that in five years will no longer exist," he said.
On the other hand, Nicolás Jodal announced during his presentation on autonomous vehicles that his company is working in Uruguay on a prototype that develops this technology. Meanwhile, Fogel referred to the importance for entrepreneurs to be aware of trends and focused his presentation on Bitcoins and their virtues, the change they bring to humanity and the new opportunities they present.
Sebastián Aguiar, Claro's Marketing Manager, spoke about the evolution of communications and the impact of new technologies on telecommunications companies, which, according to him, were able to accompany the changes by adding resources and services that ensured their permanence.
At the end of the day, attendees enjoyed lunch at the Hampton by Hilton Hotel and received suitcases and thermoses as gifts.
