Integrating projects that develop innovative technologies to agricultural processes, such as biotech, bigdata, drones, ecommerce, risk management and decision making among others, the best technological projects of this industry will be selected, which will participate in the innovation program. The call was launched in May.

The program will be held in parallel in Argentina and Uruguay, highlighting the fact that the selected startups in both countries will travel to Buenos Aires and Montevideo, co-participate in events and seminars and exchange knowledge and experience.

The program will favor the connection of entrepreneurs with academia, regional businessmen, public and private institutions, as well as with the regional ecosystem, to strengthen their business vision and their strategic contacts, as well as to strengthen ties that lead them to do business quickly and efficiently.

The program will last 6 weeks. It concludes with a main event or Stage Summit, which in the case of Uruguay will be held at LATU on August 9th. It will have an outstanding regional audience and will be attended by renowned international speakers, panels where the topics of interest and current affairs of the intersection of the worlds of technology, innovation and agriculture will be discussed, and where the selected and accelerated startups will present (Pitch) and compete.

Events like this one, but in other industries, have already been held by NXTP in Mexico, Colombia and Argentina. However, for the first time it will be held in parallel in the Rio de la Plata.

Our main objectives are the following:

  • To broaden the knowledge about startups in the Agro business field.
  • Generate investment opportunities and eventually accompany them.
  • Dynamize the ecosystem, with the participation of the State, Academia, Companies, Institutions and the Entrepreneurial Community.
