  • Undergraduate university education is concentrated in Montevideo.
  • In the interior of the country, the academic offer in technical education is greater than the university degree.
  • The academic offer of postgraduate education is less than the offer of technical and undergraduate education.
  • The gap between men and women shows that for every 100 men, 28 women enter ICT training.

This document aims to provide a reading of the state of the situation of training and academic supply in Information Technology in Uruguay, where the unsatisfied demand for professionals and technicians facing the ICT sector in the country is the main element that hinders the possibilities of growth.
