The Director General of the National Institute of Employment and Vocational Training (INEFOP), Eduardo Pereyra, and the President of the Uruguayan Chamber of Information Technology (Cuti), Leonardo Loureiro, signed on Tuesday 20 February the specific agreement between the two institutions, where they agree on the implementation of the b_IT Project.
Project b_IT is a 2-year 100% online training programme (Year I Programming, Year II IT Analyst) aimed at people over 18 years of age with 4th year of secondary school or equivalent passed.
It is a highly inclusive proposal, which aims to integrate diverse talent from all over the country into IT employment. Among the agreements, Cuti will design a technical training proposal for the Uruguayan ICT industry, specifically for work in technology or technology-intensive companies. For its part, INEFOP will finance up to 1000 scholarships throughout the country.
This agreement offers a space to integrate more women, people who want to retrain or are in a situation of disability and other groups with difficulties in accessing employment.
