"During this year 1,800 young people will be trained in information technology," said the director of Inefop, Eduardo Pereyra, at the signing of the agreement for the second edition of b_IT program, held on Tuesday 19 at the headquarters of that institution.
The hierarch explained that for the Government "it is central to train young people in this field because between 2013 and 2017 there was a 30% increase in jobs in this area".
He stressed that the selection of participants takes into account the gender perspective, the accessibility of persons with disabilities and the participation of citizens from the interior of the country.
"It has been a successful project," he emphasized. He explained that the b_IT Program provides online training for two years, aimed at people over 18 years of age with a fourth year of high school or equivalent approved, throughout the country. Basic computer skills are required: file management, Internet browsing and basic use of e-mail.
