This programme is supported by the Department of Industry, Innovation, Trade and Tourism of the Basque Government, which in collaboration with 7 managing bodies (universities, vocational training centres) in the Basque Country aims to promote the transnational mobility of young people from the Basque Country by carrying out activities and projects related to their academic and professional profile in companies/organisations abroad, with a previously planned practical training plan.
During the 6 months that the scholarship lasts, all expenses are financed by the Basque institutions so there is no cost for the company hosting the participants.
This year the Basque Government, in its aim to frame this programme within the general growth strategy of the Basque Country, will prioritise practical projects related to the RIS3 sectors (Biosciences-Health, Energy or Advanced Manufacturing-Industry 4.0).
It is important to note that, although these 3 sectors are a priority, any type of candidate profile will be considered (engineering, economics, marketing, psychology, human resources, anthropology...), because this new clause only affects the sector of the company, not the project in which the intern will work within the company.
