Since 1997, Fundación Los Pinos has been developing educational programs with the objective of generating equal personal and work opportunities for children and young people in situations of social and economic vulnerability. The programs are complementary to the training received in schools and high schools.
The Genexus Programmer Program is carried out in agreement with the National Institute of Employment and Professional Training (INEFOP) at LATU's Knowledge Development Center.
It is aimed at young people between 18 and 24 years of age who have completed the fifth year of secondary school and lasts 5 months. Upon completion, these young people will be trained to join the productive sector.
Currently, a group of graduates of the Foundation are looking for job opportunities in the sector, therefore, they could be inserted in the market.

Below, we detail the objectives of the programme and the training that students receive so that companies in the sector can facilitate their insertion into the labour market.
Objectives:
- Facilitate the insertion of young people into the formal labour market.
- Promote their insertion in companies dedicated to Information Technologies.
Graduates receive two certifications: Junior Genexus Analyst and Genexus Analyst.
The graduate receives training in:
- Flow Diagram Design (algorithm solving).
- Relational Database Design.
- Performing queries in Database (exercise in multiple queries with SQL language). In one or multiple tables at the same time.
- Web application development with Genexus.
He also conducts practical workshops in:
- Analysis and design of the reality - Design of the application (user interfaces and automatic processes).
- Application testing based on requests.
They receive accounting training in:
- Opening Journal Entry.
- Posting of economic events in the journal.
- Seniors.
- Balance sheet.
- Balance in 8 columns.
- Profit and loss and book closing entries.
They also have complementary training activities and contact with the environment, such as attending the Genexus International Event, which brings together the main business leaders in the world of ICT.

- Database (16 hours)
- SQL (16 hours)
- Programming Principles (16 hours)
- Accounting (40 hours)
- Employment and social orientation workshop (60 hours)
- Apprenticeship in the company (80 hours)
Los Pinos graduates will be able to join the ICT market, as they are looking for their first job opportunities to continue growing personally and professionally.
