Álvaro Gandía, is the organiser and responsible for the event that has already been held in the main cities of innovation in Latin America and together with Alejandro Narancio (Co-founder of Infuy), local organiser of the event, they invite us to meet and interact with the new technology that is revolutionising the whole world. 10 years after the implementation of the first Blockchain network, we can understand it as a new Internet: the Internet of value. This new technology, capable of transacting any kind of value between two people without the need for intermediaries, is changing the world as we know it, just as the Internet did, exponentially impacting business models and organisations.
During the talks, topics such as: What is the Internet of Value and why is it changing the world, current and near future of Bitcoin, Bitcoin vs Establishment, legal aspects and regulatory context, local and international exchanges and an exchange panel with referents on successful use cases in Blockchain and the Internet of Value will be discussed.
Also, the day before the event, Thursday 23 May, a series of workshops will be held at the Zonamerica Campus for developers and other business people to learn about the world of smart contracts and the application of blockchain for business, logistics and regulations, with speakers from companies such as RSK, Keoken, dexFreight, Bitex.la, Koibanx and others. Tickets can be purchased at www.bitcoinday.la or on Eventbrite and cost between US$ 12 for the conference and US$ 36 for the special networking dinner.
