IDB launches call for Startups

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) has launched a call, which will be open until July 22, to select the most innovative startups in the creative industries in Latin America and the Caribbean.

With this call the IDB seeks solutions that improve lives in the categories of Industrial Design, Multimedia, New Technologies and Export of Creative Services.

 

The finalists will be invited to participate all expenses paid in Idear Soluciones Chile 2018 (the IDB's largest innovation event), where they will be able to compete for a prize of USD 25,000.

 

The detail of the categories of interest is as follows:

  1. Industrial Design: Sustainable fashion, smart clothing, urban art, wearable technology.
  2. Multimedia: Video games, digital content, audiovisual content, publishing, music.
  3. New Technologies: 3D printing, blockchain, internet of things, artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, augmented or virtual reality.
  4. Export of creative services.
