The department of Durazno hosted the Second Regional Meeting b_IT

Last Friday, May 3rd, the South Central Regional Technological Institute (ITR) received more than 80 students of the b_IT Program during the presentation of the final projects of the first generation.

After the First Regional Meeting held in Montevideo, the b_IT Program of Cuti and INEFOP moved to the department of Durazno to hold the second meeting at the ITR of UTEC.

 

The welcome was in charge of Silvia Nane, Director of Cuti, b_IT evaluator and Director of the company T.Machine; Anibal Gonda, Vice President of the People Talent area of Cuti, b_IT evaluator and GeneXus Technology Evangelist and Daniela González, Director of the ITR of UTEC in Durazno and b_IT evaluator. From the podium, the students were thanked for their effort and participation, as well as the importance of job conversion and training in technology for the labor market of the future.

 

More than 80 students from the departments of Durazno, Treinta y Tres, Cerro Largo, Tacuarembó, Florida, Lavalleja, Rivera, Maldonado and Rocha, presented their projects to the Cuti partners who served as evaluators. Among them were Silvia Nane from T.Machine, Juan Suarez and Andrés Stagno from Arkano, Milton Rodríguez from MiCheque, Anibal Gonda from GeneXus, Natalia Botto from THOT, Daniela González from UTEC and Guillermo Giovine from Sicfe.

 

It was a meeting where students from the Northeast of the country had the opportunity to present their projects, exchange knowledge and share their experiences with b_IT evaluators, IT Industry referents.

 

On Friday, May 10th, in Colonia, the third and last of the Regional Meetings will be held, with the participation of students from the departments of the east coast (Artigas, Salto, Paysandú, Río Negro, Flores, Soriano and Colonia).

 

The b_IT Program has a national scope, so students from all over the country were divided into 3 zones to facilitate the concurrence.

 

About b_IT

The b_IT Project started in 2018 as a 2-year 100% online training program in Information Technology aimed at people over 18 years old with 4th year of high school or equivalent passed, all over the country. This year will be starting the second generation with 1000 new students from all over the country.
