Prototype Development

The Julio Ricaldoni Foundation launched its call for the development of prototypes 2016, which will provide up to $110,000 and specialized advice to technology-based ventures that require technical validation.

The Call for the development of prototypes is aimed at technology-based ventures that need to demonstrate their technical feasibility through the development of a prototype and / or test. The teams must be integrated by at least one student, alumnus or teacher of the Faculty of Engineering (Udelar), among which regional centers with Fing reference services will also be considered.

 

Cycle of workshops

 

To support those interested in applying to the call, there will be a series of three workshops, which will address:

 

Management and finances. Tuesday, November 1, 6 pm. By Alejandro Minatta: accountant, professional specialized in entrepreneurship and innovation.

 

Planning and monitoring of technological projects. Tuesday, November 8, 18 h. By Gerardo Agresta: electrical engineer, consultant on issues of innovation and technology management, university lecturer. 

 

Effective Presentations. Tuesday, November 15, 18 h. By Santiago Aramendía: accountant, consultant in Entrepreneurial Development, entrepreneur tutor, teacher in entrepreneurship.

 

Registration for the cycle of workshops will be open until October 30, by completing this form. The workshops will be held in the second basement of the Faculty of Engineering. Although participation is optional, at least one member of the team who has attended will be considered when evaluating the proposals.

 

The deadline to apply for the call will be open from November 1 to 30 by completing an online form.

 

Financial and technical support

 

Those selected will receive a grant of up to $110,000 and support from a specialized team to achieve technical validation. This call is made in the framework of the membership of the FJR to Emprenur, the Thematic Network of Entrepreneurship of the University of the Republic. Since 2007, when the first call for Dynamic Entrepreneurs was launched, the FJR has supported 42 projects in their technical validation.

 

Interested parties will be able to participate in workshops that will support them in the formulation of their proposals.
