"Cuti is the place where we get together to discuss issues that go beyond the scope of our companies. Basically, how to sell abroad, how to go abroad, how to be more competitive", Urraburu defines.
Following the recent death of its director Álvaro Lamé, with whom they had established a series of guidelines in June 2016, the Cuti board decided to continue working collectively, without establishing a single successor. "A lot of work was already being done as a team among all the participants. We understand that this is the best way to move the chamber forward and maintain that collective, without the figure of a president per se," explains Loureiro.
There are several guidelines set out in 2016, which they now seek to maintain and reinforce. "The fundamental one is human resources. Our industry depends on people, we do not have large investments in infrastructure, our investments are basically people", they explain.
Another point that they are looking to develop with greater emphasis is marketing abroad. "What we are working on there is how to help companies to be able to work internationally in the best possible way," says Loureiro.
