The course is part of IS.uy, a programme to boost and further develop Software Engineering in Uruguay. Its purpose is to generate synergy, foster and strengthen the links between industry, state and academia through intense joint collaboration.
Purpose of the course: To provide knowledge and skills necessary to effectively lead software development teams, teach how to adapt to different situations that arise in projects and learn from them in order to improve. In addition, the course participant will be prepared to use the Team Software Process (TSP) framework in agile contexts such as Scrum, XP, Lean and others, implementing hybrid processes in their organisation.
To achieve the objectives, exercises will be carried out in the different topics to understand how to lead self-managed teams effectively and how to use the TSP framework to support quality software development. In addition, an exercise will be carried out at the end of the course to summarise what has been learnt.
The course will run from the 21st of June to the 22nd of July. Classes are on Mondays from 18hs to 19:30hs, Tuesdays from 18hs to 21hs and Thursdays from 18hs to 21hs. The course will be given in a non-classroom mode with classes via teleconference.
