BIOS, an educational institution characterized by the entrepreneurial and transforming spirit of its members, with a presence of 20 years in the market, constantly seeks to provide updated and innovative educational proposals.
This time presents the Technical Testing career, designed in conjunction with specialists and teachers of the company Abstracta, a leader in software testing in the local market and a major player in the most competitive international markets such as the United States and Japan.
The first course is oriented to the fundamental concepts of Software Testing, to understand how to run functional tests that help improve the quality of applications. Among the topics that are addressed: how is software development and the role of the tester in the process? Incident life cycle: how to categorize and prioritize them? Everything a tester must take into account when working with web and mobile systems. How to report and follow up on "bugs"? How to interpert and execute test cases and the handling of tools for incident management?
Programming for Testers, on the other hand, has as its main objective to train students in programming in the Java language. At the end of the course will have the knowledge of the operation of web and desktop applications, the basics of programming Web applications, the operation of an application server and the necessary interaction between the components of any modern Web application.
Automated Testing is oriented to make functional testing more efficient, taking advantage of the knowledge acquired in programming to achieve test automation at different levels according to Cohn's pyramid: unit tests, API level tests and graphical interface level tests, in particular for Web systems using Selenium.
Performance Testing is oriented to the most technical part of testing: performance testing. In this type of testing we work on improving response times and the use of system resources, for which various tools are used to perform analyses, suggest optimizations, orchestrate concurrent accesses simulating real users, monitor systems, etc.
Once completed and approved the three courses that make up the career, the student will get the diploma of "Specialist in Technical Testing". Also, partial diplomas will be awarded after passing each of the courses.
The student is prepared to take the certification in Performance Testing with JMeter and BlazeMeter, endorsed by Abstracta and BlazeMeter internationally recognized.
