CPAP announces the opening of registrations for its Careers and Courses 2017

CPAP seeks to train highly qualified professionals capable of adapting, innovating, developing and applying knowledge and technologies.

The Center for Graduate and Professional Update in Informatics (CPAP), Faculty of Engineering, University of the Republic, reports the start of its Graduate and Update courses 2017.

 

Given the existing agreement between Cuti and the CPAP of the FING, members can get a 15% discount on registrations for the following Postgraduate and Updating courses:

 

 

April 3rd

Testing in the software development process

To present concepts, methods, techniques and processes related to the multiple activities of Testing within the Development Process, in order to improve the quality of the software and the efficiency of its realization. Include elements that contribute to the preparation of international certifications of professionals such as the ISTQB Certified Tester.

 

 

April 18th

Computer Systems Security

The objective of this course is to introduce the student to the basic concepts of computer security. The course is aimed at professionals responsible for designing and/or implementing security mechanisms in their companies, in order to develop, expand or improve computing platforms. At the end of the course the student will have acquired the basic concepts necessary to identify the possible threats that a computer system may suffer and establish the appropriate protection mechanisms to ensure its security.

 

 

April 26th

Application of Information Technologies to Chronic Diseases

This course will address issues of new technologies available such as web 2.0, interoperability infrastructure, mobile infrastructure, internet of things, telemedicine, applied to solve the problems of chronic diseases: coordination of care, electronic medical records, health information exchange at different levels of application, patient empowerment, telemonitoring, provision of medical services remotely.

 

 

Specific experiences for the management of these diseases will be analysed, which are referenced at national and international level by those involved. Based on this analysis, students will propose possible practical applications of the same in the institutions where they work, analyzing the implications from the medical, organizational, technological and economic point of view.
