Employees of Cuti's partner companies have an automatic 25% discount on the Postgraduate Course in Information Systems and IT Business Management of the School of Economics and Administration (UdelaR), which begins its courses on April 4.

The goal of this postgraduate diploma is to contribute to the development of the skills necessary to identify, develop and manage the benefits that technology can bring as competitive advantages, value-added and business solutions - which is key for companies in the sector.

It seeks to train professionals with knowledge in information systems, information technology and management sciences, developing specific training in consultative sales of IT projects and software, project management, management of information systems, and entrepreneurship in the area of information technology.

We expect that those who complete this diploma will develop the vision and leadership necessary to manage ICT projects according to strategy, be able to participate in the formulation and management of projects, as well as in the development of strategic plans, policies and programs linked to the marketing function in IT companies. Also to expand their knowledge to manage IT companies and transform the technology business model into a real company.

This initiative is aligned with the Chamber's explicit interest in sectoral promotion and is expected to generate the necessary synergies to contribute to "all productive sectors of the country to enhance their natural strengths through the incorporation of technology to position Uruguay within the group of countries with high value-added exports" (Guidelines for a promotion policy on ICT, Cuti, 2009).
