Recommendations for companies to safely implement teleworking

In consideration of the measures adopted to contain Covid-19 and in view of the need for many companies to perform remote work, Logicalis Uruguay shares recommendations to implement teleworking without putting information at risk.

It is important to revalidate the Disaster Recovery Plan and the Business Continuity Plan to guarantee operations in a crisis scenario.
Identify critical systems and possible contingencies in case of unavailability.
Verify Collaboration and Productivity tools, services status and licensing, to ensure teamwork and communication with clients and colleagues.
Robust remote access to the network, estimating the growth in bandwidth consumption.
Strengthen the security scheme guaranteeing the confidentiality of information.
Train the company's staff to work efficiently remotely.

Nothing is more important than the physical integrity of people, so we recommend that while the social distancing by Covid-19 lasts, most of the economic activity uses collaborative tools that allow remote work safely.
