Visits to participating brands increased 76% during CIBERLUNES

Visits to the brands participating in the twelfth edition of CIBERLUNES increased 76% compared to June 2019, according to data released by the Chamber of the Digital Economy of Uruguay (CEDU).

 

81.7% of CIBERLUNES users rated their online shopping experience as very good to good. 75.3% paid for their purchases with a credit card online, while 93.2% reported having a very good and good payment experience.

 

85.8% of people used a smartphone to search for products and services during the three days of discounts. Women accounted for 70% of the visits to the website, a trend that has been maintained since the past editions of CIBERLUNES. 

 

In reference to the number of visits by age group, there was a predominance of people from 25 to 34 years old. However, the band that grew the most compared to June 2019 was that of 18 to 24 years old, which recorded an increase of 528% 60.8% of visits to the website were recorded in Montevideo while in the interior it was 39.2%. 

 

Technology was the most searched category in CIBERLUNES, according to CEDU data. The other four most searched categories were fashion and footwear, home appliances, home and DIY, and travel and tourism.
