Switch Software Solutions inaugurated new facilities and prepares to reaffirm its presence in the United States.

The opening party was set to the music of DJ Marcelo Castelli, and guests enjoyed a circus fire juggling show, as well as enjoying sushi prepared on the spot by Mie Sumi, from Sumi Sushi.

The company, which this year completes 10 years, has 53 employees working on projects for domestic and foreign clients. The commercial focus on large local clients and the expansion into the U.S. market triggered the rapid growth of the staff, anticipating a move to a brand new office, located in the heart of Punta Carretas. The new facilities maintain the amenities of the old office, such as a patio and barbecue area, while adding new spaces such as a recreation room with a big screen and surround sound, an enclosed barbecue, green spaces and a swimming pool. "The idea was to offer our team a place with open spaces and more recreational areas, in order to achieve the balance we are always looking for between work, fun and social life", says Nicolás Zangaro. Nicolás Zangaro, Co-Founder and member of Switch's Board of Directors, tells us. "Considering that we spend a third of our day working, I believe that the space where that activity takes place has to be pleasant and welcoming. I think the new office meets those conditions and more," says Sabrina Rebollo, Head of Human Capital, who also mentions that a willingness to learn, a good attitude, the ability to collaborate and a genuine passion for technology are conditions that are highly valued in those aspiring to join the company's team.

The future vision of the company's board of directors is committed to maintaining a good working environment and excellent working conditions: "it is part of our goal that our team finds in Switch something more than a job, and that is why we bet that this new office will allow us to carry out more recreational activities, more training and give more space to innovation" says Zangaro, while highlighting the importance of generating spaces for exchange with the community and sharing experiences and knowledge "contributing our grain of sand so that the industry continues to grow".

On a commercial level, the move seeks to foster exchange with clients, opening the doors of the office so that they can work "side by side" with the teams, generating value for both parties, says Alvaro Vazquez, also Director and Co-Founder of Switch. Innovation and disruptive technologies are presented as opportunities for the company, which plans to open a commercial office on the east coast of the United States in the next semester.
