The Chamber of Digital Economy of Uruguay (CEDU) conducted an online survey of purchase intention for the next edition of CIBERLUNES, which will be held from Monday, June 3rd to Wednesday, June 5th. The information was collected through a form sent to consumers who voluntarily completed the material.
Of a total of 2,905 survey respondents, 85% indicated that they plan to make some type of purchase during the upcoming discount day. Within that percentage, shoppers indicated that the main products they plan to purchase are electronics, home & décor and travel.
On the other hand, 7 out of 10 indicated their inclination to use mobile devices to carry out their transactions. In addition, more than half of every ten respondents preferred to pay by credit card. The second means of payment selected was cash or debit on delivery.
78% said they have shopped online regularly in the last year, and more than half said they prefer to pick up their purchases at the pick up or local store.
During the discount day, organized by the Chamber of the Digital Economy of Uruguay (CEDU), a wide range of products and services from more than 60 participating brands will be available to the public.
Those interested can take advantage of special offers and purchase them through the website www.ciberlunes.uy.
