Among other new features, paying special attention to the conversational User Interface, the modeling of Chatbots, Hybrid Interfaces and Virtual Assistants has been simplified, being able to add this communication channel, currently crucial between customers and companies.
INTEGRATION
GeneXus 16 integrates with Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things (IOT) services. In terms of cognitive and machine learning services, it includes integrations with the most important providers in the AI market, including IBM Watson, Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services and SAP Leonardo Machine Learning Foundation. Amazon Machine Learning and Google Cloud AI will soon be included.
The most popular payment platforms in the world are also integrated to the possibilities of the new version: WeChat Pay, Ali Pay and Stripe are added as possible providers to the two payment platforms that already worked with GeneXus: Paypal and Mercado Pago.
GeneXus developers will also be able to consume services automatically with the OData protocol. This means that it can interoperate with any system that exhibits and consumes OData services (ERP, CRM, API Business Hubs and even non-relational databases).
Regarding the integration with the Cloud, it should be noted that all the major providers are included in GeneXus 16.

NEW GENERATORS
The new chatbots and .NetCore generators included in this new version accompany the move to new platforms.
It also adds generators for watchOS and tvOS allowing access to the generated solutions, from the iWatch and the living room of your home. It also incorporates support for XCode 10 and iOS 12 and with it the automatic generation of code for the latest Apple operating systems and devices recently released.
