They define themselves as a company in constant growth, leading innovation and providing solutions for people. What is EvoSoft's core business?
In EvoSoft we focus on analyzing the problems that our clients pose to us and solve them by applying technology. Therefore we are constantly learning to be at the forefront and to opt for the most appropriate solution depending on the case. Although in these years the company has focused on a particular niche such as the equestrian industry, we have ventured into various industries and we can say that what characterizes us is the approach to the customer through the understanding of their needs. Each project we experience as our own and as far as possible, we aim to give a personal touch that often is the differential in the industry.
In 2015 you became Cuti Partners under the new venture category, how much have you grown since then?
Since 2015 we feel that we have grown in many ways. In the beginning we were developers with little experience at a business level, but with a lot of desire to create our own ventures. Throughout these years we learned a lot, not only in the field of software development and technology in general but also in various areas: from how to find and generate business opportunities and interact with customers, to work methodologies that fit our needs. Eventually, in the path of entrepreneurship there is a point where one tends to play in all areas and position oneself in different roles when circumstances require it. Everything is learning and the good thing is that in the industry you don't walk alone; we have always been lucky enough to meet key people who have helped and encouraged us in our journey.
Like every startup, we have had ups and downs. The interesting thing is that we always find a way to redouble our efforts and move forward, fervently believing that effort and perseverance pay off, these being the fundamental pillars of EvoSoft. Precisely at the beginning of this 2019 we find ourselves with many projects that give us a very positive growth projection. Among the objectives of this year, is the opening of our first branch abroad; specifically in San Sebastian - Spain. Undoubtedly this implies a great challenge, but we are ready and eager to take advantage of it.
How do you think being part of the Chamber has helped you?
The Chamber's contribution to this whole process is important. There are several cases in which they have provided us with information. However, it is worth mentioning that it was specifically through the Chamber that the contact and the opportunity were generated that led to the decision to carry out a trade mission to Spain and establish ourselves in San Sebastian.
Our first contact with Cuti was Guzmán Cabrera, to whom we are deeply grateful for his support. He was the person who guided us in our beginnings, managing to formulate and present a project to ANII, which today is a consolidated product called EvoTiming. It is being supported for the second consecutive year for its commercial expansion and internationalization.
We would like to thank the entire Cuti team for the work they do, the support and the opportunities they generate; especially Silvana Perrone, who has permanently collaborated with us, bringing us closer to the opportunities generated through the Chamber.
As a company that has established itself in the IT industry, is there any advice you would like to give to new entrepreneurs?
It is a difficult question, because we believe that there is no golden rule for entrepreneurship. We speak from our experience when we say that the journey is not easy. In our opinion, you have to be clear about two aspects; the first one is that, without a doubt, you have to sacrifice things to be able to do what you like to do. The second is that you also have to be willing and have the will to fulfill the first one. Beyond the ups and downs, doing what you are passionate about is priceless. In the entrepreneurial world you meet many people who help you and encourage you to keep going. The important thing is to have clear goals and not lose focus. Undoubtedly it is worth the effort, but in addition, the entrepreneur has the advantage that during the journey many unique experiences, people and experiences that make you want to undertake again are rescued.
