On July 8, Netlabs was recognized as Solutions Partners Winner in the following categories: Attainment Solution Partners (the partners that exceeded their annual quotas in their region) and New Business Solution Partners (the partners that brought more business volume to Red Hat within their region) at the Partner Conference 2020, along with other important companies in the region.
In the words of Pablo Casal (netlabs CEO): For us this was an unexpected recognition. Not because we don't feel we don't deserve it, (in fact, reflecting on the road we have travelled in recent years, the feeling is that we are reaping what we have sown) but because we simply weren't expecting it. Nobody at netlabs had it on the radar, nobody thought this could happen.
Regardless of the big surprise, this recognition comes just in time, a golden brooch for a path that we started about 10 years ago, when we decided to approach Red Hat. At that time I remember thinking: "It can't be that we, being a 100% Open Source company, with our business model based almost entirely on Red Hat, are not partners of theirs". So we went to Buenos Aires to see what we could do. At first it was a bit difficult to adapt to the corporation, it was the first brand we were representing and the truth is that we didn't have much idea of how to handle ourselves in that world.
However, Red Hat, being also a company of technical origin and Open Source, which still keeps alive in its DNA, knew how to understand us, accompany and even tutor the whole process of growth and professionalization that we were consolidating. Finally the results are evident and we all feel that the work multiplied the results.
This great recognition represents, among other things, in a very clear and graphic way that the results are there. And that the investment and trust that Red Hat placed in that company, full of potential but still incipient in the corporate world, almost 10 years ago, is today bearing the best fruits.
