The Chamber of the Digital Economy of Uruguay (CEDU) is preparing to celebrate from Monday 12 to Wednesday 14 November the ninth edition of its traditional discount event CIBERLUNES, with multiple benefits for consumers and also for brands, which have time until Friday 28 September to register.
So far, around 50 companies have secured their place to offer their products and services through the site www.ciberlunes.uy during the three days, a proposal that also includes a presence in the advertising campaigns to be carried out in online and offline media, with special options depending on the category chosen, Black, Platinum, Gold or Bronze.
Interested brands can register through ciberlunes@cedu.org.uy to share the space with Arredo, Assist Card, Divino, Gripper, LATAM, LOi, Mercado Libre and Mercado Pago, as well as Metropolitana Pisos, MIS BENEFICIOS, Movistar, Multiahorro, S Tienda, Sodimac, Tienda Inglesa, TiendaMIA, TocTocViajes, Viajobien and woOw! Aerolíneas Argentinas, ALDO, Botiga, Buquebus, CAT, Colonia Express, Columbia, Disershop, Hush Puppies, Merrell, Mi Compra, Mosca, Pasqualini, Rapsodia, San Roque, STADIUM, Toto, VoydeViaje, Wikimusculos, Boutique Erótica, Crocs, Harrington, Hiperviajes, Inbox, Las Margaritas, Legacy, Narvaja Hogar, Séptimo Cielo, TimeOut and Under Armour.
Since its debut in December 2014, CIBERLUNES has established itself as the main e-Commerce day in Uruguay. In the latest edition, which took place in June 2018, the campaign reached almost two million people, an amount equivalent to 60% of Uruguayans, registering a new record since its beginnings. Seventy-four per cent of those who accessed the platform were women and 26 per cent men.
For the participating brands it was also a milestone, as traffic to their sites was between 100% and 300% higher than usual. Fashion and footwear, technology, travel, household appliances, and home and décor were the five most visited categories during the discount days.
