In an hour-long talk, held at ÁNIMA's premises, Guillermo Talento CEO of INSIGHT presented the company, its people and its history. The talk began with information about INSIGHT, what it does and what role it plays in the ecosystem of IT companies in Uruguay.
The talk then moved on to introduce Insight's collaborators, who, through intimate videos, shared with the young people how they do their work, why they decided to work in this industry and to inspire them to continue on the ICT path.
The presentation then turned to the topic of artificial intelligence and how this technology is currently impacting society and what challenges it presents for incorporation into future projects.
Finally, Guillermo told his personal story, how he did his first programme in 1983 and how his career in the IT world has developed from his student days to the present day.
The exchange was very lively with many questions and full of anecdotes.
INSIGHT has been collaborating with ÁNIMA since 2015.
ÁNIMA is a new innovative educational proposal of Technological Baccalaureate in Administration and Information and Communication Technology (ICT), privately managed and free of charge, which takes place in different learning spaces: the classroom, companies and digital laboratories.
