After culminating an intense year of work, the Chamber of Digital Economy of Uruguay (CEDU) presented a balance of its activities and objectives achieved during 2018 through its annual report.

Last year, the Chamber carried out an intense schedule for its members and large-scale actions. The two successful editions of the CIBERLUNES discount campaign held in June and November, which had an exponential growth, increasing CEDU's presence in the industry, stand out.

With the assumption of Guillermo Varela as president in February, the annual agenda included the development of a cycle of meetups to address issues related to the digital economy sector. CEDU also conducted a series of workshops aimed at providing new knowledge on the development of e-commerce and the professionalization of the industry. The topics revolved around the analysis of the effectiveness of new advertising platforms, the challenges in the sale of online services and the knowledge and tools of B2B e-Commerce.

On the other hand, the Chamber was present at renowned events, such as the Andean e-Commerce Day held in Chile, where it also signed a collaboration agreement with its Chilean counterpart, and the Ecommerce Day organized in Uruguay.
