Digital commerce has become an important alternative for consumers to access the products they need and for companies to maintain their activity during the COVID-19 pandemic. In this context, the Chamber of the Digital Economy of Uruguay (CEDU) launched the call for companies to join the traditional CYBERMONTHS date, which will be held on June 7, 8 and 9.
Once again, the main e-Commerce event in the country will offer users the possibility of accessing important benefits and online offers in dozens of stores and brands that join this initiative that has high levels of approval.
The CIBERLUNES campaign offers a space on the website www.ciberlunes.uy where the member companies will be present, forming part of the joint advertising campaign for the promotion of the event in online and offline media.
There are five participation modalities for companies - Black, Platinum, Gold, Bronze and Basic - in which partners will have special bonuses. Each one will have different types of deliverables, among which stand out mentions in press releases, radio and other offline media together with the rest of the brands, as well as preferential position in the site www.ciberlunes.uy. Those who choose the Black category will get the most benefits.
Originated in 2014, CIBERLUNES has become the event that represents digital commerce in the country, with high levels of acceptance by the population and generator of a significant increase in sales.
According to a survey conducted by the consultancy Factum, the number of users who shopped during the 13th edition of CIBERLUNES held in October grew by 9% compared to the previous year. The data reflects that 29% of Uruguayans made purchases of goods or services during the online discount day and there was an increase among those who decided to postpone or advance purchases to coincide with this special date.
In turn, the main e-Commerce event in Uruguay maintained a "very positive" evaluation of the shopping experience and the prices obtained, as highlighted by users. 87% said it was a "gratifying" instance and 76% described it as "very advantageous" when evaluating prices.
