Over the years, we opened the doors to new challenges; so that today, we are proud to say that we are also the creators of the best-selling cattle caravan reader in the country, among many other long-term projects that we have presented in Uruguay and abroad.
We would like to give special thanks for the trust and support of each and every one of our clients, collaborators and friends, who have always been with us and who have made it possible for us to reach this point.
Since our beginnings, we bet to be one of the few hardware and software development companies in our country. One of the keys in this journey was to form a solid and highly qualified work team. 15 years later, it is a great joy to find ourselves a few days away from celebrating our anniversary with clients, colleagues and friends.
What was the main value we brought over the years?
"We specialise in developing hardware and software with national manufacturing, which means a differential in Uruguay. This gives us the flexibility to make certain products that other companies cannot. We started in 2002 at a time when it was not easy to make electronics in Uruguay and today, fortunately, it has improved, although there is still a long way to go," says Alfredo Arnaud, one of the company's founding partners.
Having the possibility of importing generic devices, which is the most usual, in BQN we bet on building the hardware from scratch, with a design tailored to the needs. This has advantages in terms of usability, maintenance, updating and, what is very important, support.
We are able to provide embedded electronics and software solutions to customers with specific needs. Regarding our own products, we focus our efforts on providing improvements and upgrading their versions, and offering an outstanding after-sales service.
What do we expect in the coming years?
According to Eduardo Palacios, another founding partner, "we have the intention and commitment to make BQN a national reference in hardware, embedded electronics and software".
We are committed to being a nationally recognised company in the development of state-of-the-art technologies, adapting our products to the changing market conditions, and to the demands and needs of our customers.
Our objective is to continue working on providing tailor-made solutions that meet emerging needs, and to contribute more and more value to the IT market in our country.
