Since Friday, September 27, all users of the National Integrated Health System (SNIS) can consult their Electronic Health Record through the Portal Gub.uy.
The HCEN functions as a repository where the different health care providers dump the information they generate regarding their users. This generates a centralized information system that guarantees the best decision making, and transmits the Clinical History to the users through AGESIC.
Since this is extremely sensitive information, the authorities opted to provide access to the HCEN through the highest levels of security and privacy. To consult their Medical History, users can enter the Gub.uy portal and authenticate in two ways: with the new identity document (through a chip reader and connected to a computer) or with their Identidad Mobile, the solution provided by Abitab.
Abitab's Mobile Identity is equivalent to having your identity card on your cell phone, which allows you to authenticate yourself before any institution with the same legal validity as if you did it in person.
To obtain their Mobile Digital Identity, people must enter Abitab's website, make the application and then go to any store to validate their registration.
The Gub.uy plan offered by Identidad Mobile is completely free for one year and, in addition to access to HCEN, allows you to carry out and track more than 1,300 state procedures online.
The new scenario that the National Electronic Health Record proposes, unparalleled in the region, in addition to allowing SNIS users to access their Health Record, allows them to configure their information in such a way as to allow access to other health care providers in case of emergency, to see in detail which health care manager accessed their information and to guarantee the interoperability of the entire system. In other words, in the event of having to go to a health care provider other than the usual one, the new provider can access the patient's medical history (always with the patient's consent) and make better decisions in less time and with all the information at their fingertips.
All those who obtain their Digital Identity from Abitab, in addition to the possibility of authenticating themselves online and carrying out thousands of online procedures, will be participating in a raffle for a brand new apartment on November 2nd.
