TEDxMontevideo is calling for applicants with an idea to share. The most important project in our country in terms of the dissemination of new ideas arrives renewed and receives proposals on its website. While the last editions focused on single thematic axes (youth, education, future), this year the production seeks to know the most diverse, complex and risky ideas of any discipline. Those interested in submitting proposals can do so until 30 June by completing the form published at tedxmontevideo.org.
Some new features for this year
The seventh edition of TEDxMontevideo includes a number of important changes
New day
In order to allow as many people as possible to enjoy the full experience of the event without having to miss their studies or work, TEDxMontevideo 2016 will be held on the following day. SATURDAY 08 October.
New location
The new location will be the LATU Technology Park which will create a more dynamic and diverse environment, with more space for interaction among the attendees.
More time
The event will be longer, lasting 10 hours, and in addition to the conferences, there will be artistic activities, workshops, concerts and a gastronomic area to enjoy.
More people
In the 6 years since its creation, TEDxMontevideo has grown steadily in demand and thousands of interested people are left without tickets. This time it will have a structure that will be able to receive twice as many attendees.
Live streaming is growing
In the 2015 edition, TEDxMontevideo was the first TEDx to have an uninterrupted broadcast of the event and more than 10,000 people followed it live on the internet. This year the special programme will be produced again in order to continue generating exclusive content for those who follow the event from their computers and mobile devices.
