Places are limited and registration is made on this form.
The call is part of the FJR's Entrepreneurship Promotion Programme and will provide up to $130,000 and specialised advice to technology-based ventures that need to demonstrate their technical viability through the development of a prototype and/or test.
The teams must be made up of at least one student, alumnus or teacher from the Faculty of Engineering (Udelar), among which regional centres with Fing reference services will also be considered.
Cycle of workshops
To support those interested in applying to the call for applications, a series of three workshops will be held in November as part of Entrepreneurship Week and will deal with the following topics:
- Project planning and monitoring. Monday 13 November, 18:30, IMFIA postgraduate room (Fing). By Gerardo Agresta: electrical engineer, consultant in innovation and technology management.
- Management and budgeting. Monday 20 November, 18:00 h, room 502 - Blue (5th floor of Fing). By Alejandro Arancio: economist, consultant in strategic planning and innovation.
- Effective communication and presentations. Monday 27 November, 18:00 h, room 502 - Blue (5th floor of Fing). By Daniel Ottado: graduate in Communication Sciences and Director of the Communication Institute of the Faculty of Information and Communication.
Registration for the cycle of workshops is open until 12 November, by completing this form. Although participation is optional, at least one member of the team who has attended will be considered when evaluating the proposals.
Application to the call
The call for applications will be open from 1 December 2017 to 31 January 2018 by completing an online application form.
