The Chamber's initiative, aimed at ventures in development and expansion stages, offers those interested the possibility of going through a strengthening process through mentoring and monitoring by businessmen and experts, who will provide them with the necessary tools to enhance their proposal and enter the market.
Throughout eight months, participants will have monthly meetings with designated mentors, other entrepreneurs and Cuti staff members, as well as networking opportunities and meetings with specialists in different areas.
"Mentoring with entrepreneurs allows entrepreneurs to complement the knowledge acquired through formal education or the help of consultants. It is about generating a suitable environment to discuss strategic aspects or specific situations with experienced referents, who surely have already experienced similar situations," said the mentor and CEO of Inetsat, Pablo Salomón.
According to Daniel Goldman, CEO of InnMentor and RunIT mentor, "the main strength lies in offering entrepreneurs the opportunity to focus on the added value of their proposals. This allows them to polish their products and learn about the actions that will lead them to success, whether through contacts or learning. It is the best way to know what to change, improve, specify or prioritize".
The program, which has seen the participation of more than 40 projects since 2012, contributed to the development of IT ventures such as GoDoWorks, Acceso Fácil and GuardiaN, among others.
"RunIT is an enriching experience for the entire technological ecosystem of Uruguay. Not only the entrepreneurs benefit, but we entrepreneurs gain new points of view and have the opportunity to learn together with them, absorbing knowledge from their successes or mistakes, and challenging our own paradigms," said Goldman.
