The Jornadas de Informática de Actualización Profesional (JIAP) is an annual training event in Information and Communication Technologies, which lasts three days and where more than 60 first level conferences are presented. They have been held uninterruptedly since 1992 and currently have an audience of over 1,800 attendees.
This year they take place from June 5-7, 2018 at the Antel Auditorium.
"It is changing the way products are sold. In Uruguay there is a lot to do. We have to work on the transformation of the industrial fabric," said the Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining, Carolina Cosse, on the opening day of the event.
"We have to build a Uruguay with fewer obstacles for the development of technologies," added the hierarch, stressing that our country. She added that our country "has a habit of adapting to change".
"We have to work on opportunities. We cannot leave half of the population out of the future. Let's not make the same mistakes as in the old economy," he warned.
