From 29 September to 1 October Montevideo will host the Microsoft .NET Conf UY v2016, which will bring together a qualified panel of national and international exhibitors together with the local developer community and participating institutions.
Declared of national interest by the Ministry of Education and Culture (MEC), this edition of Microsoft .NET Conf UY will feature various activities, including two days of conferences, with lectures and talks on topics related to technological development in the industry. There are more than 35 talks by international and local speakers. The conference cycle will be held in the Telecommunications Auditorium of Antel.
Practical workshops will be held over the course of a day, in two simultaneous tracks. A social inclusion activity will also be organised, involving fifty students from the Ánima technological baccalaureate, as well as a recreational get-together between some of the attendees and speakers at the event.
The .NET Conf UY v2016 event is considered by the organisation to be the largest community-organised Microsoft technologies conference in South America. In the 2015 edition, more than 300 attendees and 20 speakers from Uruguay, Argentina, United States and Canada participated.
"The .NET Conf UY is the most important event organised by the community in Latin America, due to the quality of the presentations, the presenters and the organisation, which is particularly relevant at a time when technological innovation is the main driver for the development of companies and businesses. Topics such as artificial intelligence, the cloud, intelligent bots will be part of a super interesting and complete agenda," said Eduardo Mangarelli, Microsoft's Director of Technologies for Latin America.
