If there is a sector of the economy that stands out for its capacity for innovation, it is surely the industry of information and communication technologies, the so-called ICT.
However, what these companies have done in terms of innovation is not enough. They are obliged to keep innovating. And, curiously, not all of them have a culture of innovation. That is why it is essential that they invest in fostering creativity and incorporating innovation management tools and techniques.
We talked about this topic today in the first edition of La Mesa TIC, with four guests: Omar Barreneche, telecommunications engineer, executive secretary of the National Agency for Research and Innovation(ANII); Giselle Della Mea, graphic designer, founder of 3vectores, a creative and technological solutions design company; Pablo Brenner, computer engineer, vice president of Innovation of the Uruguayan Chamber of Information Technology (CUTI) and CEO and founder of Collokia, a startup focused on using artificial intelligence technologies to improve business collaboration; and Marcel Mordezki, mechanical industrial engineer, director of the area of management and technological innovation at the ORT Uruguay University and partner at Mordezki & Asociados, a consulting firm in management and management of technology companies.
