This Thursday, October 1st, the Artigas Institute Complex located in Camino Maldonado was inaugurated. The set of self-managed housing is now home to 48 people who were homeless.
This housing solution consists of 25 modules with bathroom that were donated to the Ministry of Social Development - MIDES, thanks to the contribution made by Cuti partner companies through the fundraising campaign #JuntosLogramosMas, which is developed as a result of the health emergency that the country is experiencing because of the Covid-19.
The ceremony of delivery of the modules of the housing complex was led by the President of the Republic Luis Lacalle Pou and Minister Pablo Bartol, was attended by Mr. Leonardo Loureiro, President of Cuti and members of the board, representing the donor companies.
Through #JuntosLogramosMas it was also possible to donate 131,654 liters of milk to primary schools through the feeding system implemented by CEIP, which benefits more than 50,000 schoolchildren throughout the country.
