ImprovIT is a training cycle that seeks to strengthen entrepreneurs and ICT entrepreneurs in key areas for the development of their business. Start: May 11th. Registration open.

ImprovIT is a training cycle, proposed by the Cuti Startups Commission, which aims to strengthen entrepreneurs and ICT entrepreneurs in key areas for the development of their business.

 

The training programme integrates a cycle of 7 workshops led by experts, where participants will be provided with the main tools for the management of their business.

1st WORKSHOP:

Strategies to improve the sale of IT Products and Services & Solutions

We will look at how to move from the sales plan to the activities required to achieve the sales target for products and services. We will build the value proposition, database, cold approach process and business intelligence.

2nd WORKSHOP:

Digital marketing strategies

We will work on how to do business through advertising investment on the internet, how to measure and optimise based on metrics, what objectives and advertising formats we can use and understand social networks as a business ally.

3rd WORKSHOP:

Basic financial tools

During the workshop we will learn how to construct financial indicators, how they should be analysed, what a cash flow is and how it is constructed and how to analyse the viability of a business or project.

Speakers: Pablo Pequeño and Agustín López Ferreira from the Consulting Department of Deloitte in Uruguay.

Date: Thursday 20 July.

4th WORKSHOP:

Legal aspects of new ventures

"From entrepreneur to businessman": we will deal with the problems of growth, how to prepare the company and the relationship between the partners. Contracts and the corporate form will be some of the topics that will be dealt with over two days. In addition, we will provide the information and tools necessary to know how to organise a business in accordance with what is to come.

5th WORKSHOP:

How much is my company worth? The challenge of valuing a startup.

In the workshop, we will discuss the most common criteria for valuing a startup from the perspective of investors. Content: company valuation methods, challenges of applying them to startups and practical application.
