It took place on August 9th at the Kibón Avanza hall, and was attended by leading exhibitors from the business and public sectors, as well as technology experts and prominent international speakers.
GeneXus Projects Day, in its fifth edition, summoned the entire technology and business community to put on the table the need to reinvent ourselves, to align ourselves to the new demands and trends that mark the era of Digital Transformation.
Under the slogan #Ren1nvent10n, the speeches focused on the need for reinvention at all levels: of organizations, people and projects based on digital technology. The conferences will be published soon on the following website.
In the inaugural talk: "#Re1nvent10n: 3 key questions", different members of the team participated: Guillermo Skrilec, Manager of the Testing area, Carolina Torrado, Manager of the Mobile Devices area, Virginia Hiriart, Manager of the Business Analysis area and Pablo Alzuri, Consultant and expert in the Security area.
Afterwards, one of the international guests, Doctor and Master Juliana Herbert gave the lecture: "Choosing the "best" methodology for the digital era". With the participation of the Brazilian, the break and the surprising performance of the vocal group "Las Coralinas" followed.
Also participating in the panel, moderated by journalist Carina Novarese; María Nela González, Director of the National Livestock Information System of MGAP, Elisa Facio, President of ANDA, Juan Carlos Chomali, CEO and Country Head in Santander Uruguay and Carlos Alba, Director of Strategic Planning and Innovation of AGESIC.
The KEYNOTE of the day was given by the Spaniard Juan Merodio with the talk: "Business Reinvention: Why adapt to change to survive?" Merodio is one of the leading experts in Digital Marketing, Innovation, Social Networks and Digital Transformation in Spain and Latin America.
The 5th GeneXus Projects Day ended with Karina Santo's words of gratitude: "From these 25 years we want to highlight the passion we have for what we do. Working with technology and solving problems is what makes us vibrate and moves us to get up every day".
