From Monday 10 to Friday 14 September, Argentina will host the XX International Virtual Educa Meeting 2018, which promotes innovation in education to foster social transformation and sustainable development. These meetings are organized every year together with the governments of the host country and are considered an essential reference in Latin America and the Caribbean as they bring together government institutions, multilateral agencies, the corporate sector and the teaching community to discuss the challenges of education.
This year, the Meeting is jointly organized by the Ministry of Education of the Nation, the Ministry of Education of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, the office in Argentina of the Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture (OEI) and the General Secretariat of Virtual Educa. It will be held at the Exhibition and Convention Center of the City of Buenos Aires (Av. Figueroa Alcorta 2201). Participation is open and requires prior registration.
Under the slogan "Educating the present, connecting to the future", XX Virtual Educa will offer a full agenda of conferences, presentations by researchers and plenary sessions on different topics, such as: the school in the digital age; lifelong learning; knowledge management; inclusive education; new methods in secondary education; multilateral and governmental initiatives of educational innovation with the use of ICT.
