The area of human management is key in this process, as talent is one of the fundamental pillars of this digital transformation.
In Uruguay you can find the best technologies, good telecommunications and high connectivity, but nevertheless digital talents remain a critical point in this process.
What are the really critical profiles? What skills should we consider? How do we find alternative sources of recruitment? And, especially, how to retain this strategic talent? These are the topics to be developed in Recruiters It, an event dedicated to employer branding and strategic recruitment.
The event will take place on April 4 at the Torre das Telecomunicações de Antel. This year the challenge is to specifically address the problem of attracting and retaining digital talent.
The new ways of working and the challenge of digital areas, in particular, require quite different workspaces. Verónica Botto, regional manager of Change Management at Contract Workplaces, a company that has led major change processes in organizations such as Bayer, Dupont, Sony Music, Telefónica, Unilever and Willis Towers Watson, among many others, will give her vision in the presentation Living culture through space.
"The talk will invite reflection by proposing questions such as: Is my office transmitting the right message? Does it reflect our values? What emotions does it inspire?", said Botto. Meanwhile, Sebastián Torterolo, director of the Association of Uruguayan Professionals in Human Management, explains that "as the claim of this edition says, all companies are technological. Beyond the business to which they are dedicated, the importance of digitization is increasingly relevant in any organization".
Catchment.
Finding experts in technology has been for some years the main concern of Human Resources professionals. In Recruiters It you can learn about the latest tools and the experience that organizations in the country and the region are having with them.
Diego Sastre (CEO of Pyxis), Marcelo Mazzilli (CEO of AT Innovando Juntos), Leonel More (1950labs) and Sheryl Long (HR Analytics Analyst at Equifax), will address the profile of the Data Scientist (key player in the digital transformation), as well as the new philosophy of working in open talent networks and alliances to share and empower key collaborators.
The digital sector has remuneration levels that are among the highest in the market and "the war" for talent has unleashed a cruel battle when it comes to defining the salary structure of the technology area, so it is key to know in detail the remuneration levels for each position, the composition of real salary and emotional salary, among other aspects.
During the conference, Anibal Gonda, Vice President of People Talent at the Uruguayan Chamber of Information Technology, will present the average remuneration levels of the positions of reference.
When it comes to sharing best practices and success stories, two panels will be presented, one focused on best practices of IT companies and the other integrated by more traditional companies in the process of digital transformation. The panel "Success stories in IT Employer Branding" will be integrated by Jacobo Singer from dLocal, Carolina Montico from Oracle and Carola Tolomei from RSK (Argentina). Mariana Escandón, CMO of LOreal, along with representatives from Pronto! and other private organizations, will present their experiences in this digital transformation process.
Fernando Nizawa, People Manager at Mercado Libre, will share best practices as a regional leader; "Employee Experience: How Mercado Libre designs, manages and optimizes the experience of its employees throughout Latam".
Leo Piccioli, an outstanding international speaker, will make a presentation specially designed for this event, which he has called "The Cabo Polonio Syndrome: feature or bug?", thus putting the finishing touch to an intense day that will address the challenge of attracting and retaining digital talent, with a 360º perspective.
As in previous editions, the format of the event will be disruptive and highly innovative, allowing participants to meet hand in hand with the most prominent national and international experts in each of the chosen topics, as well as generate networking among colleagues, which this year incorporates the most prominent IT companies in our country," concluded Torterolo.
